DEBRA JEFFERS-EVANS

Debra Jeffers-Evans has a love for the Construction and Restoration field. She attended the Executive Management Program for Design and Construction at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, as well as successfully passed the NASCLA qualifier exam for General Contractors. Debra is an astute businesswoman. She is the founder and president of Nehemiah USA, Inc., a Private Consulting and General Contracting Firm. Working alongside her Husband, Donald Evans, Sr. they have over 25 years of experience in the Construction/General Contracting Field.

Mrs. Evans is a native of Roxboro, NC, and a graduate of Person Sr. High School. While there, she excelled in academics and sports. She played softball, volleyball, and was a member of the marching band flag corps. She was an active member of many school organizations and clubs.

Debra graduated from Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, where she was consistently on the Dean’s list. Mrs. Evans was active in several clubs and outreach organizations throughout her college career.

 

Dedicated to academic achievement and the belief that children are our future, Mrs. Evans continued her education and received an Associates of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She completed her course work with a 4.0 GPA (Summa Cum Laude). She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Gamma Beta Phi honor societies. Mrs. Evans also received an NC Early Educator Certification at Level 11. She utilized her educational expertise to help children with special needs and intellectual disabilities within the Wake County Public School System.

 

Debra is a lifetime member of the WSSU National Alumni Association, The National Association of University Women, and a generous philanthropist. Mrs. Evans supports many charitable organizations and encourages others to do the same. The following are a few of the organizations she supports.

DONALD L. EVANS

DONALD LEE EVANS, SR. is a native of Raleigh, NC and is a graduate of Athens Drive High School. While there he excelled in sports and became a 3-Sport High School Standout Athlete participating in football, basketball and track. After graduation, his #31 football jersey was retired and he was inducted in the Athens Drive High School Sports Hall of Fame.

 

Donald is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) and it was proven to be a game changer. He was a part of the football team where he became a 4-Year standout football player and athlete. After leaving WSSU, Donald embarked upon a successful 8-Year NFL career playing various positions that include: Running Back, Linebacker, Defensive End, Defensive Tackle and Nose Tackle.

 

Donald played a total of 92 games (including playoffs) during his NFL tenure; starting 84 games which equates to starting 91.3% of games played during his impressive career. Donald played for the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets.

 

Donald is the Chief Project Manager & Department Head of Construction. A few of his business accolades are:

Donald’s personal accomplishments and honors are numerous, they include his alma mater WSSU naming of the “Donald L. Evans Fitness Center”, organizer and chair of the WSSU Fundraising Campaign for the William “Bill” Hayes Bronze Statue and the Bill and Carolyn Hayes Scholarship Endowment Fund, (www.BillHayes.org). He’s also the honorary co-chair for the NC HBCU Living Legends Scholarship Gala; and founder, chairman, & CEO of Ram Athletic Foundation, Inc. and 4th & 1, Inc. In addition, Donald is a prestigious Hall of Famer of the following organizations:

Donald is a man of exceptional integrity and is committed to the spirit of excellence in all of his endeavors. He has a heart of gold and believes in serving and making a viable impact leaving the imprint of God’s Goodness on whatever assignment he is tasked with. At a young age, Donald became a hard worker and a very focused young man whose philosophy has always been to be the hardest worker.
